    1. Upjohn Library Commons

      Upjohn Library Commons features ideal study space in quiet settings such as the second-floor reading room, which provides a beautiful view of campus, two fireplaces and comfortable furniture. The library also provides:

      • the Book Club Café, serving coffees and other beverages, as well as grab-and-go food such as salads, sandwiches and sides in a welcoming place to socialize;
      • the Learning Commons, offering students peer assistance in writing, biology, chemistry, graphics, English as a second language, and library research;
      • the Writing Center, where student consultants work with peers seeking help at any stage of the writing process, from brainstorming to final drafts, and at any level, from first-year seminars to Senior Individualized Projects;
      • the Center for New Media Design, which helps students create materials such as multimedia presentations, posters, images and Web pages for course projects or other college-related activities;
      • a video-production studio, supporting documentary filmmaking and TV-production courses; and
      • nine classrooms.
