Fogelman Residence Hall replaces Irby House and completes the second phase of The Village. It is named for real estate magnate Avron B. Fogelman, a 1962 graduate of Tulane, and his wife Wendy, a 1963 graduate of Newcomb College.
The new residence hall features double suite-style rooms and includes study lounges, kitchens, meeting spaces and apartment space for resident directors, who will provide leadership and oversight for the residential community.
Opening for the 2025-26 academic year, Fogelman is located on McAlister Way between Freret and Willow streets. It joins joins River and Lake Halls, which opened in 2023 allowing most juniors to reside on campus.
