          Opening for the 2025-26 academic year, Bayou Residence Hall replaces  Paterson House and completes the second phase of The Village.

          The Village includes:

          • 200-seat theater 
          • The Hub - a 14,000 square foot student collaboration space

          Located on McAlister Drive between Freret and Willow streets, Bayou and Fogelman Residence Halls join River and Lake Halls, which opened in 2023 allowing most juniors to reside on campus.

          The new residence hall features double suite-style rooms and includes study lounges, kitchens, meeting spaces and apartment space for resident directors, who will provide leadership and oversight for the residential community.
