            Opened in 2023, Lake Residence Hall joined River Hall in completing the first phase of a new housing complex known as the Village. 

            The Village includes:

            • 200-seat theater 
            • The Hub - a 14,000 square foot student collaboration space
            • Beautiful green spaces & outdoor courtyards
            • Student lounges
            • Gaming lounge
            • Campus programming space
            • Viewing party space
            • 24/7 unattended retail/convenience store

            Located on McAlister Drive between Freret and Willow streets, Lake and River Residence Halls joins Bayou and Fogelman Halls, which opened in fall 2025 allowing most juniors to reside on campus.

            The new residence hall features double suite-style rooms and includes study lounges, kitchens, meeting spaces and apartment space for resident directors, who will provide leadership and oversight for the residential community.
