      Opened in 1995, Lone Star College-Montgomery is a 365,000-square-foot comprehensive college on 210 acres of pine forest between The Woodlands and Conroe. Part of the fast-growing Lone Star College System, LSC-Montgomery enrolled more than 13,000 credit students for the fall 2015 semester. Additionally, more than 4,000 students take continuing education courses annually.

      Patriot Day

      Lone Star College-Montgomery Remembers 9/11 Heroes with Patriot Day Challenge

      Lone Star College-Montgomery recently held a special event to remember and honor the heroes of September 11. This annual gathering, hosted by the Veteran Services and Fitness Center, brought the community together for the Patriot Day Challenge, a symbolic climb held in the campus parking garage.

      LSC-Montgomery Holds Student Organization Fair and Resource Event

      LSC-Montgomery proudly hosted its first organization and club fair of the fall semester on September 3, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Organized by the Office of Student Life, the event took place at the Maverick Conference Center, encouraging them to discover their passions, develop leadership skills, and forge meaningful relationships.

      Lone Star College-Montgomery Celebrates 30 Years of Excellence with Kickoff Convocation

      Lone Star College-Montgomery proudly kicked off its 30th anniversary year with an inspiring Convocation event, welcoming faculty, staff, and new Mavericks back to campus. The celebration also marked the beginning of a new semester dedicated to advancing the college’s mission of educational excellence and community engagement.

      Lone Star College-Montgomery is proud to host the 2025 Texas Gulf Coast Biotechnology & Biomanufacturing Education Conference (TBEC) on Saturday, October 18, at the LSC-Montgomery campus. This event aims to unite academic leaders, industry pioneers, educators, and community stakeholders to accelerate the region’s rise as a global biotechnology hub.

      Blake Restivo

      Lone Star College-Montgomery Student Blake Restivo Presents Groundbreaking Research at National Conference in Pennsylvania

      Blake Restivo, an undergraduate researcher at Lone Star College-Montgomery, recently represented the college at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Restivo, from the Houston area, presented his research on using fungi for bioremediation, a method aimed at cleaning up oil spills.

      Dr. Reid-Hart

      College President

      Dr. De' Reese Reid-Hart is the fifth President of Lone Star College-Montgomery. Dr. Reid-Hart earned a Bachelor of Arts in English/ Pre-Law and a Master of Arts in Education Psychology, both from Eastern Illinois University. She holds a Doctoral degree in Education Leadership from National Louis University in Chicago.
