         1. Conservation Education in North Luangwa

            Organization: Save The Rhino
            
            Developing activities in support of sustainable and long-term ecosystem management, linking conservation and children. The North Luangwa Conservation Program (NLCP) supports the Zambia Wildlife Authority (ZAWA) in the conservation of North Luangwa National Park and surrounding Game Management Areas. Through a targeted Conservation Education Program, 20 local schools benefit each year from interactive, innovative lessons that are delivered by a mobile Conservation Education Unit and officer. Supplementing activities including a teacher's training guide, a Conservation Celebration Day and competitions spread the conservation message to a wider audience.
