Making policy changes for otter conservation by updating the Cambodian protected species law so all otter species are protected from hunting; supporting local communities so otter conservation areas are properly managed in the long-term; and producing a Cambodian-language identification guide to empower local students to study otters and for rangers to better understand the legal and conservation importance of otters and better enforce the law. This project intends to leave a lasting legacy in Cambodia, ensuring all otters are protected by law and making lasting improvements to the way environment ministries and communities protect otters in Cambodia.
