Working to reduce human-elephant conflict (HEC) through improving management of HEC and elephant drives. Plans to accomplish this include: a baseline survey to better understand HEC; an assessment of the effectiveness of current HEC management; and capacity building of stakeholders in HEC management based on project results. Using satellite-trackers on wild Asian elephants to monitor crop raiding and assess the effectiveness of elephant drives.
