Organization: Northern Jaguar ProjectWorking in partnership with Naturalia, a respected Mexican environmental organization, to implement a research-oriented camera survey project in conjunction with rural landowners in Sonora. This program will provide participants with motion-triggered cameras to place in known wildlife corridors. While these cameras document wildlife, the Northern Jaguar Project trains local vaqueros in camera maintenance, provides rewards for photos taken of wild cats, publishes images to elevate conservation awareness and uses the information to guide future research.
