Organization: Northern Jaguar Project
Protecting the world's northernmost jaguar population by rewarding local ranchers for motion-triggered photos taken on their properties- particularly images of the four large felines found in this area of Sonora. Assisting ranchers in implementing conservation management strategies designed to reduce jaguar mortality and human-wildlife conflict. Providing opportunities for students to learn about the local ecosystem and participate in habitat restoration.
