Organization: International Elephant FoundationBuilding a landing jetty with a boat station, marine ranger post and training rangers in boat operations, safety and rescue techniques to curb poaching. Leveraging resources, training and learning from the previous projects, this boat station will be based on the Northern Bank of Lake George and will provide the only access point into the heart of the Dura region. In addition to providing land and water borne law enforcement (anti poaching measures, policing of the bush meat trade, ivory tracking and illegal fishing), this station will also provide a base for research and community programs.
