Brittain Dining Hall
Brittain Dining Hall, designed by Tech Professor Harold Bush-Brown, was built in the English collegiate style popular during the 1920s. Noted for its architectural beauty, Brittain also boasts a striking stained glass window that incorporates a sense of history about Georgia Tech. The window, a gift from the Classes of 1927, 1928, 1929, and 1930, was completed in 1932. Design by Julian Harris (ARCH '28), as a junior class architectural design project, the window illustrates the academic disciplines as well as other facets of Georgia Tech life. Included in the window are panels featuring the Engineer of the Past, the Engineer of the Present, and the Engineer of the Future. Additional panels feature motifs associated with the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy, Tech athletics, and various Georgia Tech academic programs.
