On the roof of the Gibbons Hall, one of the oldest buildings on campus, is an array of solar panels. The state-of-the-art energy technology is one of a number of green initiatives on the CUA campus. The juxtaposition of classic architecture and modern energy technology demonstrates Catholic University's commitment to both historic preservation and environmental sustainability.
