Organization: Lubee Bat ConservancySecuring long-term conservation of habitat that provides a stronghold for one of the greatest animal migrations in Africa at Kasanka National Park in Zambia, where 8 million fruit bats appear out of nowhere, stay for two months, and then disappear. Building an education and direct protection framework through improving forest accessibility, supporting forest guards to protect the site and developing a multi-national bat education program based around Zambian conservation clubs and linking science and education across countries.
