      1. Protecting Hunted Bats and Livelihoods in Madagascar

         Organization: Lubee Foundation
         
         Developing surveys to measure the human impact on bats and implementing education programs to curb the hunting and eating of bats and other bushmeat in Madagascar.  The practice not only impacts the bat population, but also exposes hunters and those that consume them to disease.  This is the second year of funding from the DWCF for this program.
