      1. Madagascar Flying Fox Conservation Program

         Organization: Lubee Bat Conservancy
         
         Ensuring that the bush meat issue is integrated into future mammal and forest conservation plans in a recently created protected area in eastern Madagascar. This project will explore the flying fox bush meat issue while also addressing the socioeconomic context, as this may well provide a key to pursuing conservation whilst also promoting livelihoods.
