      1. White Nose Syndrome Threat to America's Bats

         Organization: Bat Conservation International
         
         Providing funds to assist researchers in developing hypotheses and solutions to the White-Nosed Syndrome (WNS), a mysterious ailment killing hundreds of thousands of American Bats. The goal of this project is examine potential causes and solutions and recommend immediate priorities from the WNS Strategy Group, a group formed by five organization including BCI.
