The Emily and Jerry Spiegel Theater was also built in 1938 and renovated in 1986.
The smaller black box on campus, the Spiegal Theater is frequently used by Hofstra's Spectrum Players and Masquerade Musical Theatre Company. These two clubs put on straight plays and musicals open for all of Hofstra to join and watch.
The versatile space is also used by the Drama department for classes such as Directing.
