    1. Paramount Studios (Bronson Gate)

These pearly gates are truly emblematic of the movie magic that Paramount Studios has created for over a Century and continues to do so. Known as the Bronson Gate, it is an ornate, wrought iron entry gate located at the North end of Bronson Avenue at the entrance to Paramount Studios. The gate was built in 1926 and was famously featured in films such as Sunset Blvd, The Artist, and many others. Interestingly, Charles Bronson (whose name was originally Charles Buchinski) took his new name from this gate. Although most of the major motion picture studios have fled Hollywood for adjoining cities such as Burbank or Culver City in the west side, Paramount Studios is actually the only big name movie studio that still actually located is located in Hollywood, making it the longest continually operating studio in the City of Hollywood.
