Thompson & Associates (T&A) was founded in 2008 and is focused on providing quality and responsive professional engineering consulting to our clients. Our president, James F. Thompson, P.E., has over 20 years of municipal project experience ranging from small treatment plant retrofits to large neighborhood redevelopment projects. Mr. Thompson leads the day to day operations and ensures that all of our clients are the number one priority. Our Vice-President in charge of the Miami-Dade office, Shahin Hekmat, P.E., has over 25 years of municipal project experience ranging from District Drainage Engineer for a local water control district to City Engineer for one of the largest cities in South Florida. Our Vice-President in charge of the Broward office, Darren L. Badore, has over 20 years of municipal project experience ranging from large scale infrastructure replacement projects to small scale drainage improvements. In addition to our municipal experience, we have completed various land development projects for private clients which enable us to understand the market forces behind any project. It is this unique and diverse field of experience along with our personalized client relations’ approach that allows T&A to provide a positive consulting experience for our clients.
