    1. Casa Vieja Lodge

      Kristen Salazar, BSC '08

Casa Vieja Lodge boasts a modern nine-boat fleet with all the technology an amenities you'd want to make your time on the water more productive, and more pleasant. Guiding our game boats are the top tagging award-winning captains and mates, who know how to raise the big fish, and what to do when you hook one.

Our fleet averages more than 20 releases per boat, per day. But we've seen as many as 124 releases in a day from a single boat. Casa Vieja Lodge anglers have released 57 sailfish on the fly (a single day world record!) and 300 sailfish in 3 days of fishing on the same game boat. There's no other lodge that can find them the way we can.

Casa Vieja Lodge is an official 2014, 2015, 2016 Tag and Release Sponsor of The Billfish Foundation. When the fish we tag and release are re-caught, data is returned to TBF to help improve their sustainability efforts. Working together on responsible conservation practices ensures the continued health and productivity of the Pacific coast.

You'll return from a strenuous day of 5-star Angling to luxury resort that will help you unwind, and reinvigorate you for the next day's adventure. Experience all the comforts you'd expect of any world-class retreat. Enjoy the friendly, laid-back atmosphere of our bar, soak sore muscles in our pool, sample an exotic new dish from our master chef, or just relax in a hammock and take int he beauty of your surroundings.
