Jerome H. Poliacoff, MED '75, MSED '83, PHD '83
Jerome Poliacoff (Ph.D., 1982) is a well respected local family and forensic psychologist specializing in work with children, parents, and families of divorce who maintains a private practice in Coral Gables where his time is spent providing both clinical and forensic services. He is also a consulting and testifying expert in Family courts; an expert in cases involving discrimination and harassment claims in Federal employment law cases; and, an expert in the assessment and defense of tort claims for emotional damages. He has presented as a lecturer before numerous audiences and has had articles published on various topics including Alternative Approaches to Litigation, Mental Examinations in Federal Employment Litigation, and Parental Alienation: Frye v Gardner in Florida Courts.
