Bates House, home to the Office of Admission and Student Financial Assistance, was once the house of Mrs. Harriet Sage Gabriel, who owned the property on which the University of Hartford campus is now located when it was the last working farm in Hartford. Today, that farmland has blossomed into the 350-acre University of Hartford campus. Bates House houses our Office of Admission and Student Financial Assistance. Thus, this historic house is often the first place on campus visited by prospective students and their families. Our dedicated team of admission and financial aid professionals look forward to welcoming you here on your visits to campus.
