Established at Butler in 1859, Phi Delta Theta’s Indiana Gamma chapter was the first fraternity at Butler. The Phi Delt house, which was built in 1929, was renovated in 2009. It became the first LEED-certified fraternity house in Indiana. Through various fundraisers, the fraternity—including the Indiana Gamma chapter—supports the ALS Association in honor of Phi Delta Theta member and baseball legend Lou Gehrig.
