        Duncan College

At Rice, a residential college functions as an extended family. Rice undergraduates are randomly assigned to one of 11 residential colleges so that each college represents a cross-section of the university’s diversity.
Duncan College is the newest of Rice’s 11 residential colleges, home to the self-identified “Duncaroos.” The environmentally friendly building was the first at Rice, and one of the first in Houston, to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification.
