    1. Local Foods at Brochstein Pavilion (Opening Soon)

      Raymond and Susan Brochstein Pavilion Designed to provide a space for Rice students, employees and visitors to gather, the Brochstein Pavilion includes a shaded exterior plaza adjacent to an indoor café, where coffee, wine and locally-sourced light meals are sold by Local Foods (opening Fall 2024). The glass-walled building allows patrons to enjoy vistas of live oak trees in the Rev. William A. Lawson Grove, the twin fountains of the James Crownover Courtyard, and sculpture and photography from the university’s Public Art program.

      Local Foods is committed to creating fresh, seasonal, high-quality dishes from scratch, using the best ingredients from Texas. At Local Foods, we believe that delicious meals start with exceptional, sustainable, and locally sourced ingredients. We're thrilled to join the Rice community and are eagerly anticipating our opening in September.
