Abercrombie Engineering Laboratory
Located on the Engineering Quad, this building is easily identified by the limestone relief sculpture on its facade, titled “Energy,” by William McVey ’27.
Named for: Lilly Frank and J.S. Abercrombie and their daughter, Josephine Abercrombie ’46. J.S. Abercrombie was a Houston oil drilling contractor and president of Cameron Iron Works.
