      Allen Center is home to many of the business and administrative functions of the university. Of particular interest to students and their families are the offices of the Registrar, Bursar and Disability Services, all on the ground floor, and Financial Aid (second floor).

      Named for: Helen Daniels and Herbert C. Allen '29. Herbert Allen was president and later board chairman of Cameron Iron Works. He chaired the Rice Board of Trustees from 1972 to 1976.
