UTMB Health's anchor facility in League City, the League City Campus went into service in May 2010 as the Specialty Care Center at Victory Lakes. Services were expanded significantly in 2016, with the opening of a new hospital and 24-hr ER.
The original 110,000 square-foot, two-story building houses clinics offering advanced imaging, outpatient surgery, breast health, orthopedics and rehabilitation, pelvic health, vascular services and after-hours urgent care.
The first full-service hospital in League City, the new hospital offers advanced health care to patients from throughout the fast-growing region, in a soothing, healing environment designed by patients, families and staff.
In 2015, UTMB and UT MD Anderson Cancer Center announced a collaboration to build an MD Anderson facility on the campus, the first such partnership among UT System sister institutions.
