KCU's Score 1 for Health is a preventative health program for elementary-aged children built upon the belief that optimal health and well-being enhances ones ability to learn, grow and develop creatively. A staff of registered nurses, nutrition experts and support staff administer the program and KCU's first and second-year osteopathic medical students participate in health screening days, gaining valuable clinical experience in pediatric health assessment while providing an important community service. Score 1 for Health is located on the first floor in the Dybedal Center for Research.
