Davis Mission Chapel
Religious life at SMC has something for students of all religious faiths and practices.
The Chapel offers a weekly service that is available to all students, faculty and staff. Students are encouraged to attend (there are no classes held at this time), but attendance is not required.
Many religious organizations come to campus to hold meetings, including Upstate Cru, Baptist Campus Ministry (BCM) and others. There is a Gospel Choir available to students, as well as the opportunity to participate in a Christian rock band that participates in Chapel services. Numerous guest speakers and pastors officiate at these services throughout the year.
The Chapel, and the college's Chaplain, are the hub of many service activities on and off campus, as well. From Operation Christmas Child to alternative spring and fall break events, you'll have ample opportunities to serve the community.
