As a way to encourage the UCLA community to use active transport, like biking. Nurit Katz, Chief Sustainability Officer, introduced the idea of a Bike Channel to increase this accessibility for bike users on stairs between Engineering VI and the Ackerman Student Union. How it works is that you can set your bike on the handrailing of the stairs and slide your bike up as you climb the stairs.
