Talbot House became a college residence when Smith acquired the Capen School property in 1921. About 80 students call Talbot home. Most of the first-years live in the large, airy double rooms in the house, while older students occupy the single rooms. The house also has a study room, as well as a cozy living room where housemates gather to socialize.
