Emerson House is one of the 10 houses in the Quad. It is named after Ellen Emerson Davenport, class of 1901, who was a longtime member of the alumnae association and board of trustees. The house has a mix of single and double rooms, accommodating about 85 students. The living room, located on the first floor, is used for teas, house parties and faculty-student parties.
