When Baldwin House was built at the turn of the century, on-campus housing was available to less than half of Smith's students. This brick building on Bedford Terrace was constructed to permit about 70 students to live in college housing. The rooms all have high ceilings with big windows, and the first floor features a spacious living room and a comfortable foyer.
