Part of Glory Road will be closed temporarily for work on water lines that will serve the new Miner Crossing residence hall under construction near Kidd Field.
The closure starts at the intersection of Glory Road and Randolph Drive and continues west on Glory Road to the west end of Glory Field. The sidewalk along the north side of Glory Road remains open to pedestrians, and the intersection at Randolph Drive is open to vehicles and pedestrians.
Vehicles can access the Glory Road 2 (GR-2) parking lot, the Sun Bowl and the Larry K. Durham Center from the west side of Glory Road.
The closure is the first in a series of upcoming road closures on Glory Road, Randolph Drive and Robinson Avenue related to utility work for the Miner Crossing residence hall.
