          1. Philabaum Glass Gallery & Studio

Since 1982, Philabaum Glass Gallery has shown the work of established contemporary glass artists from around the country, as well as the work of local glass master, Tom Philabaum. The major exhibitions open in October and February. The working studio of Philabaum is open to the public for visitor viewing. Located 7 blocks south of the downtown center at Five Points. Look for the sculpture of an airplane tail section! Our current exhibition, "PHILABAUM CELEBRATES 40 YEARS IN TUCSON!" features a variety of works from Philabaum’s tenure in Tucson. Tom Philabaum built the first glass studio in Arizona in 1975. We celebrate his artistic contributions to Tucson and Arizona the past 40 years by showcasing the varied styles of his glass art this summer, including cast glass, blown glass, handbuilt glass, painted and collaged glass, and dalle de verre. The exhibition will run through the summer.
