Catholic University's tennis teams compete on six tennis courts located just behind the Raymond A. DuFour Athletic Center. In 2005, all six courts were refurbished using a stone dust overlay system. The courts are available to Catholic University athletes and students.
In 2015 the Men's Tennis team won the Landmark Conference Championship with head coach Marty Dowd who has been involved with the program for 50 years. He was one of the top players for Catholic University during as an undergraduate. Additionally, his daughters all played tennis at CUA, including Dana, who is currently the women’s head coach. Dowd’s son Michael is also a volunteer assistant coach with the programs.
