    1. Robert J. Talbot Baseball Field

Campus address: 4901 Bates Road NE

Dedicated in 2000, Talbot Field is home to Catholic University's baseball team. Renovations in the spring of 2007 included new stadium seating, a state-of-the-art press box, fencing with a windscreen, and a warning track. The field was named in honor of alumnus and hall of fame member Robert J. Talbot '60, who wore many hats at CUA, including those of baseball coach, dean of admissions and financial aid, and athletic director athletics director, and most recently senior gift officer in the office of development.

The Cardinals earned their first bid to the NCAA Tournament in 1977, when CUA still competed on the Division I level. The Cards defeated three teams in three days to win the ECAC championship and then went on to down Seton Hall in its first NCAA Tournament game. Under current Head Coach Ross Natoli’s direction, CUA won the 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2015 Landmark Conference championships.
