Join Anita McAlister, Area Head of Brass, in an educational Workshop for Brass designed for aspiring brass musicians. This session will cover:
➜ Fundamentals of brass performance
➜ Preparation strategies for post-secondary music studies
➜ A guided warm-up and instructional playing session
Ideal for students considering advanced brass studies and looking to connect with U of T’s vibrant music community.
Those wishing to participate in the warm-up and hands-on portion of the workshop should register via the
registration form. If you would like to perform and receive feedback from Anita, please also bring a piece of music that you are currently working on to the workshop.
Observers are welcome to attend.
