Hooper Health Infirmary
Bowdoin Construction recently completed this renovation and addition to the Tufts University Medford Campus health services infirmary. The wood frame addition made full use of the available site and was tied into the existing Victorian style building. Despite the extremely tight working space the facility remained operational throughout construction, and every aspect of the building was upgraded through a carefully planned phasing process. Bowdoin personnel worked in close conjunction with the infirmary staff, as well as with abutting fraternities to coordinate phasing and parking throughout the project. Interior spaces include new reception and lobby areas, nurses' station, examination rooms and offices.
