    1. Dearborn House

      House was built in 1857 by Professor Benjamin F. Tweed, Professor of Rhetoric, and was occupied by him for the eight years that he remained at Tufts. Since that time it has been used for the most part as a faculty residence before it was taken in 1985 for administrative purposes. Today,  the house is used as the Academic Resource Center. The Center provides assistance to students who want to learn more effective strategies for studying. Free tutoring is provided to undergraduates.
