The University Police Campus Safety and Security building houses University Police, Electronic Security and the Emergency Management and Emergency Communications Center. The building opened in early 2023 and is slated to be the first Net Zero Energy facility within the entire University of Colorado system, featuring a state-of-the-art HVAC system, efficient thermal envelope, controls to reduce lighting costs and on-site solar.
