The university’s primary mission at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus is to educate and train Colorado’s next generation of health professionals. This building integrates nursing, pharmacy, dental and medical students in a setting that parallels what they’ll face in the field of practice.
In addition to classrooms, Education 1 also houses the anatomy lab, which incorporates the 3-D educational platform known as the Visible Human, is located here, as are the nursing simulation suites and the pharmaceutical care learning center where pharmacy students learn how to compound medications and formulate IVs.
