Fall 2021 saw the opening of the Howard B. Fitzpatrick Pavilion, an outstanding addition to SFTV's already industry-leading facilities. With the addition of the Pavilion, we deepen our ability to nurture students’ digital learning experiences and will continue to enthusiastically pursue resources that support those endeavors.
The building was designed by world-renowned architecture firm
SOM. It includes flexible classroom spaces, two screening rooms, an immersive media lab, a post-production studio, a camera-directing stage, and a flexible motion-capture area. Additionally, just in front of the building is Broccoli Theater, a state-of-the-art 86-seat theater with 4k projection.
