This program is a semester-long domestic exchange program. Spelman College is a private, liberal arts college located in Atlanta, GA. It was founded in 1881 and is the oldest historically black college for women in America. Spelman is part of the Atlanta University Center, the largest consortium of historically black institutions of higher learning in the world. The school's Women's Research and Resource Center is the first of its kind on a black college campus devoted to a women's studies curriculum. Students from LMU have the opportunity to attend Spelman College for one semester, with multiple courses offered by the various schools and departments.
