LMU students can study at Swinburne University of Technology for one or two semesters. The central campus is located in Melbourne, which was voted the world's most livable city for the third year in a row in 2013, and is the second largest city in Australia. Swinburne is ranked the 3rd top school in the state of Victoria. While the university may be smaller in comparison to its neighbors, it allows closer personal relationships between professors and peers. Swinburne hosts a range of clubs and activities open to all students. Your campus location will depend on what units (subjects) you choose. Students should plan to take classes offered at the Hawthorn campus. Students can study a range of subjects across all academic disciplines alongside Australian students or other International exchange students.

Melbourne is located in the State of Victoria in southeastern Australia, just above Tasmania. The city is constantly flourishing with excitement all day long. Melbourne is renowned for its café culture and has a diverse array of restaurants from the Greek precinct, to Chinatown, to your traditional Aussie sausage rolls and meat pies, and so much more. Melbourne also boasts infamous farmer's markets open 5 days a week such as the Queen Victoria Market in North Melbourne, and the South Melbourne Market in South Melbourne. Melbourne is also known for its fabulous public transport.
