The Veterans Memorial monument, which pays homage to all five of the country’s military branches, was installed and dedicated in 2014. It stands as a reminder to the campus’ proud history as a military hospital before reopening in 1946 as a vocational university for returning veterans of World War II. To this day, OSUIT continues serving those who have served.
