The ’68 Center for Career Exploration has built a strong partnership with the Stockbridge-Munsee Community through their participation in our winter study course, SPEC 21 Career Exploration: Winter Study Internships! and our summer funded internship program, the Alumni Sponsored Internship Program (ASIP). These experiences have made a significant impact on 8 Williams students since December 2020:

“Academically, I had the opportunity to apply prior knowledge and learn much more about theory within indigenous studies. I am interested in History, Geoscience, and Economics. I used all three disciplines in my work: archaeological reports often included data on soil, river discharge, etc. I read through technical reports, Massachusetts Bay acts, deeds, historical surveys, and I spoke to individuals to learn from oral histories.” 2021 ASIP Intern
