Originally created as part of an ambitious Tenth Anniversary Building Program, Beckett Hall is a dormitory facility in the Mid Quad residential precinct of Claremont McKenna, on the south side of campus.
Beckett Hall is also the first dorm at CMC that offers students the option of gender-neutral housing. This dorm has just added a new wing for the 2014-2015 school year. All CMC residence hall rooms have wifi coverage and wired Internet connections and laundry facilities in the building, and Beckett also offers hydration stations and air-conditioning.
Beckett Hall is named in honor of Garner A. Beckett, Founding Chair of the CMC Board of Trustees who served in the role for the College's first 19 years.
